The Partnership purchases foreclosed or vacant homes and completes comprehensive rehabilitation, including replacement of mechanicals, improved insulation for energy efficiency, generally new kitchens and baths, along with flooring replacement. We work to make the homes affordable for first time home buyers and provide down payment assistance to ensure affordable monthly housing costs. Our homes are available only to those making less than 80 percent of the county median income. You might not think you can be a homeowner, but we will work with you to help you do just that.

The Partnership has started a rental program in downtown Janesville to make affordable units available to households with incomes less than 60 percent of the area median income. These are newly renovated units and are lead free, so are safe and healthy for children and adults. All our units are no-smoking units. Rent is set making it affordable for those with Housing Choice Vouchers.
